Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalogue, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. We have no minimum order, you can buy as little as one plant. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout now' and you will be asked for a few details that we need, to be able to satisfy the order. You must complete anything in red as the order will not go throught without these fields, including 'Terms and Conditions'.
Sagepay is the prefered method of payment as this is the MOST SECURE method.

Payment by cheque is an option in the drop down bar.
If you choose 'payment by cheque' your cheque usually has to clear before plants can be shipped
An odd exception to this can sometimes be made although always at plantagogos choice.
We accept most credit card payment and cheques.
PLEASE NOTE!! When paying by credit card, where the site requests your 'Credit Card Verification Value', this is the last 3 numbers on the back of your credit card (on the signature strip). This is requested for extra security.

You can place orders anytime of the year.
Plants will be shipped within 14 working days in the growing season (but in exceptionally busy periods please be patient with us as it can be 30 days (when we have back to back shows)
We ONLY SHIP ORDERS in the sequence that they came in (unless we decide to do otherwise)
This is the only way to ensure no one is waiting any longer than necessary. We DO NOT allow queue jumping - So please dont ask as it may offend.
PLEASE NOTE.
If you are likely to be out when plants are delivered, do you have a neighbour who could take them in and sign for you.
If you have, would you please enter it in 'Special delivery instructions', which is on the same page that you enter your name & address, this would be a big help to the courier.
All parcels MUST be signed for. If you are out when the parcel is delivered, the courier will card you and return at a time of day that suits you. ( Ususally the next day.)
You can request leave with neighbour or give number of neighbour to be more accurate.
IF YOU ARE GOING AWAY YOU MUST LET US KNOW we will NOT be held responsible if you dont.

If you want plants to come separately please ring and pay another £8.95 so you can have 2 deliveries.
Then all that is available now will come within the 30 day delivery period (usually 1- 2 weeks but just incase we are very busy we say 30days) and the remainder will follow on A.S.A.P. as soon as ready (in some cases that can be months! so please take note).
As plants are living things the date that expected available is normally AROUND (not the exact date) the time it said that plants would be AVAILABLE on website.
THE BONUS
The bonus of forward ordering is that you will be sure to get the newest plants. (nothing left to chance, if we have it you will get it) It saves you having to keep checking to see if they are available, only to find out they 'sold out' last week.
All our plants are despatched by FEDEX Courier.. Normally this would be one to three days for delivery mainland UK (not for scottish highlands and islands - sometimes that can be a bit longer) longer for other areas, once order has been dispatched.
We accept credit card payment, cheques and plantagogo gift vouchers as payment.
GIFT VOUCHERS
These can be purchased by following the instructions on the 'Gift voucher section.
To use these please place your order in the usual way
When it comes to paying you can either pay in full using your credit card then post the vouchers to us along with your NAME, order number and telephone number.
Then we will refund the voucher money back onto your card via 'sage pay' (a safe way to pay).
OR
You can select from the drop down payment box to pay by cheque.
Then you can post the vouchers and a cheque for the remainder along with your NAME, order number and telephone number
OR you can send a catalogue order form with cheque and vouchers.
Plantagogo vouchers can also be used at shows on our sales tables and at the nursery as payment for plants.
Vouchers can only be used as whole £'s sorry and cannot be exchanged for money

Another name for this is your security code.
Orders paid for by cheque will not be despatched until the cheque has been cleared by the bank.

Please note payment is taken at the time of ordering as this reserves the plant for you until it is shipped out.
Even though plants are reserved for you though we still reserve the right to withdraw them if we think the plant is not good enough to be shipped.
We will only ship plants that we believe are in top condition and we expect to grow well for you.
NB in transit sometime a few leaves can sometimes get damaged but this in no way inhibites the promotion of new growth so we will not refund for that.
If the time is longer than the 30days delivery slot then we can discuse what is best to do at that time. Refund etc.
This is not in place to get money and hold onto it, just a really secure way to pay through sage pay we hold NO credit card details.
Plants unlike some other products you can buy are living things and therefore have different problems to say a factory made product.
The weather and many other things can effect them in a more dramatic way, so sometime flexability is called for.

We only use Specialist Couriers and all our plants are despatched in containers designed specially for our plants. We only sell top quality plants, so they require top quality packaging and delivery to ensure you receive them in good condition.

Delivery Schedule
Unless otherwise stated in the appropriate section, plants in the normal season will, where possible be despatched the week after your order is received.
When this is not possible due to exhibiting at the shows etc. we will despatch the plants as soon as we possibly can, but no longer than 30days without contact agreeing a revised date.
Where ever possible we will contact you when plants are despatched.
We will notify you by email.

There is no option on site to do this automatically, just send an email or letter with a cheque for £8.95 made payable to D.R.FOX or telephone us.
At certain times you will only be able to get answer machine please leave message we will get back to you or send an email.
Sorry about this but we only charge you the costs that we incur so we cannot afford to send 2 packages for the price of one

We do not substitue very often. If we do it will be for something similar and we try to keep in the same colour range habit etc. if we can.
