Should we add plenty of grit to planting area? What type of conditions does this plant hate? It looks so lovely we’d hate to lose it by making an elementary mistake.

They enjoy moist well drained soil in partial shade best
It’s an easy plant they are like lots of little bulblets all grouped together
The problem most people have is that they dig them up by mistake so mark where it is so you don’t make that mistake
