Do you have more varieties at the nursery?

This question was asked by
Margaret E

I want to plant up a few pots with heuchera this year and have just found your web site. I notice that a lot of the plants are out of stock and despite this I wonder if you still have a good selection which are ‘in stock’ that I could come and look or are you not actually open until later on?

Hi Margaret
Yes we have plenty of variety
I know the shop always has a few issues at looking full as they come and go so quickly and we cover a lot if varieties.
If you want to come to the nursery you just need to sort out a day time that suits us both (morning are always best for us)
We would be happy to open the nursery for you.
Please just send your prefer day and time and we can go from there
Hope to see you soon
Kind regards
Vicky

Choices of trailing heucherellas

This question was asked by
Peta T

In my baskets this year I want to use Ipomea Sweet Caroline and Begonia Firewings Orange and thought trailing heucherellas would be good too. I can only see one that trails as long as 60cm, can you suggest any others and which ones would you suggest. Was thinking of maybe adding a blue flower in there too somewhere.
Your help before on Heucheras are growing well in the garden.
Many thanks.

Do you ship to the United States?

Hi Clela
I am sorry we don’t
You could try Eminence Meadows in USA they used to ship (although that might have changed )and they have a good range of Heuchera usually too.
Hope this helps

Trimming Heucherellas?

This question was asked by
Chris S

I have heucherellas trailing from a tall pot by the front door. They are now touching the ground but with no bushiness in the pot itself. Is it safe to trim them and will that make them bush out?

Thank you.

Hi Chris
It would be ok to take them back to half way now.
Then in the spring you can chop back lower when the new growth starts again.
You could give them a feed with seaweed based food which help to bush them out.
We will have our own feed on sale in the spring which we recommend for heuchera heucherella & tiarella (good for other plants too )
Hope this helps
Have a lovely Christmas
Kind regards
Vicky
