RHS Hyde Hall just seems to grow bigger ever year! It’s much bigger than it used to be, more to see, more to do, and of course more plants to buy! With the heatwave we’ve been having we had fantastic blue skies and heat the whole show.

Lucky for us Heuchera, Heucherella and Tiarella are drought tolerant plants, they are hardy evergreens and do ok with little water. A little water goes a long way with them and they can withstand dry periods.

We brought along some fabulous Kniphofia as well, “Pineapple popsicle” a vibrant yellow, and “Redhot popsicle” with cinnamon red flowers.

We were so busy around RHS Tatton we realised we didn’t even get that many photos! We took this small video of all our show plants getting ready to be planted though. We were pleased to take home a gold for our display as well. All the traffic problems and stress were worth it! It was a great show as always and we can’t wait for next years.

We are back after BBC Gardener’s World Live and were thrilled to receive our Platinum medal, the highest award at the show for our Heuchera, Heucherella, and Tiarella.

It was a lovely surprise to hear we were put through by our judging panel for best in show too …which was awarded to Mendip Bonsai which was a beautiful display of flowering bonsai trees (most in full flower). Congratulaions to John trott it was lovely!

It’s our Open Days this weekend June 23rd and 24th from 10am-4pm each day, so if you’re local or making the trip we’ve got lots of nice big plants for sale for you to take home.

This year’s RHS Chatsworth show was much drier than last years, which made things go a lot smoother and meant a great turn out. It was a lovely show in the most gorgeous of settings, as this was only the second year we suggest you try to make it next year for it’s third!

Heuchera ‘Mega Caramel’s’ giant leaves always add a nice splash of peach to our display.

It was a gold for our display, which we were very pleased about!
