We had another great weekend for our open days, and our lovely customers didn’t let the rain get them down or keep them from enjoying cake and taking home some lovely new plants! We had a great time chatting with everyone who came and raising money for Macmillan. If you didn’t get a chance to come but would still like to donate you can do so here.

How fabulous do the colours look together; Heuchera Thomas, Apricot and the new Heuchera Red Pearl’s (which gets beautiful red flowers).

Heuchera cherry cola stunning colour, full sun partial shade and Fabulous Heuchera Ginger Peach multi coloured we love it! Full sun part shade.

As Friday was the Worlds biggest coffee morning, we decided to donate all proceeds from cake and coffee from the weekend to Macmillan. They are amazing people if you or a loved one needs them.

Made fresh pineapple upside down cakes for both days.

The Chocolate malteeser cake disappeared the first day, so had to bring out the snicker cake the following day.

Marzipan, raspberry and fresh cream turned out to be a popular choice.

Raising money for MacMillan not only with selling cake and coffee, but with the ‘guess the number of spots on the cake’.

Sutton Coalfield ladies gardening club organised to come to visit our nursery on June 23rd. We absolutely adored having this lovely group of ladies here. Here are some photos from the day. 

We of course had to have a cake break as well, there wasn’t much left by the end!

Come, look around the nursery and our private. not so pristine garden lol, and the National Collection is open and half way through its spring spruce up.

Have a coffee/tea and delicious homemade cake (the profits go to Plant Heritage and Perennial) and see our medals from the shows. Have a read whilst having you coffee, lots of gardening magazine and books to look through in a comfortable warm room (if you need a warm up).
