The Harrogate Autumn flower show was just as spectacular as we knew it would be, with lots of magnificent colours all over the show grounds. An added excitement for us was that we got a new bit of silver to add to our collection with ‘best in show’! As you can see below we were quite happy with this result. I know we’ve said it before, but it’s truly a great thing to have your hard work recognised!
Here’s a few photos of our own set up as well as some from around the show grounds.
Giving a chat about ourselves and the show on BBC radio, and below all the lovely people who came to hear my talk about gardening tips. It’s great to see so many smiling enthusiastic gardeners!
Of course it wouldn’t be Harrogate Autumn show without some giant veg! I know how difficult it is to grow plants nice and big and healthy, so can only imagine the care that goes into growing such massive and stunning vegetables. It’s always such fun to see.
Our last show of the season is this week, September 23rd at Malvern, and then it’s our open days September 29th-October 1st. Then it’s all about looking after our plants in the nursery and planning what to do all over again for next years shows. A gardeners work is never done!
Congratulations on your best in show, well deserved. The plants I bought from you last September open day have been absolutely fabulous this year. Thank you.
can you list the names of Heuchera with large silvered leaves as well as any with pink colouring.
Thanks for your advice re moving one of my flagging plants.
Given me the confidence to get on with it !!
I always visit your stall when I go to Harrogate (as a Perrenial Volunteer)
Thanks, Val P.
