It was another great show weekend at Malvern Spring show last weekend. We were happy our display got a Gold Medal, after all the hard work it’s nice to see others appreciate our plants and displays as well.
We got a chance to have a wander around some of the stunning show gardens over the weekend and although rain was forecasted, we got some lovely warm sunny weather. Below are some photos of our display and some of the others that we particularly liked.
Our sales plants ready to go to their new homes. Thanks so much to all who supported us and bought plants this weekend, we hope they make great additions to your gardens!
Vicky even posed for a photo with English Gardening expert Carol Klein in front of our display. Carol was presenting a BBC Gardener’s world live on the weekend, of which we were on for a fleeting minute.
Now that we have finished Malvern, we are getting ready for the big one of the year, RHS Chelsea Flower show in London. Here we will be introducing this lovely new Heuchera, ‘Sweet Caroline’ TM (Fox series) which you can see above as a first look! It has a stunning mix of dark and pale green foliage with sweet pink flowers.
We will also be doing a little bit of a different display than we normally do, based on all the questions we get asked by you our customers about how to grow your heucheras, hecherellas and tiarellas and hopefully make the growing and caring for process a bit easier. These sorts of displays are judged in a different way and a bit tougher to get a gold, so we are working very hard and hope to get it right.
As we are now fully into the busy show season, please be patient with us with mail orders, they may take a little bit longer than usual to get to you as we are away quite often. We use every day we are in the nursery to pack up your precious plants and get them out to you though, so don’t let this put you off ordering!
Congratulations on another Gold medal. All the best for Chelsea.
We shall look forward to seeing you again at Tatton.
All the plants we bought at the Nursery and Harrogate are growing well.
