Please can you tell me what soil type Heucheras prefer as we seen them on TV and we’re definitely thinking of buying some and we have fairly heavy clay soil where we live?

Clay isn’t a problem as long as it doesn’t get waterlogged in winter
Slopes or high ground would work well with clay
If not any multi purpose compost in a pot
Pot in ground in summer and lift pots in winter
