Dodecatheon 'Red Wings'
Unusual reflex purple-pink flower petals with yellow and black centers, resembling shooting stars hence their common name, on tall strong stems, with green lance shaped foliage at the base.
Easy to grow as long as you remember where you planted them, as they die back after flowering. they need marking with a stone or label, so you don't dig them out by mistake.
Great early pollinators.
